A Word To The Wise
Every father should read one chapter of Proverbs per day in addition to his regularly scheduled Bible reading. Start on the first day of the month with chapter one, then the second chapter of the second day and so forth through chapter 31. To keep your marriage healthy, pay special attention to chapters 5-9.
“For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb…Remove thy way far from her, and come not nigh the door of her house: Lest thou give thine honour unto others, and thy years unto the cruel: Lest strangers be filled with thy wealth; and thy labours be in the house of a stranger; And thou mourn at the last…”
Proverbs 5:3, 8-11
After the night of sin,
mourning does come.
“And I find more bitter than death the woman, whose heart is snares and nets, and her hands as bands: whoso pleaseth God shall escape from her; but the sinner shall be taken by her.”
